Hotel solar installers across the UK
MCS-certified hotel solar PV across 51 UK cities and regions. Click any location for local cost data, council planning policy, Listed Building Consent density, and DNO grid-connection timescales.
UK hotel solar economics vary meaningfully by location. Southern coastal cities — Brighton (1,795 sunshine hours), Cornwall (1,730), the South Hams (1,720) — deliver materially higher generation per kW than northern equivalents. Heritage-dense cities such as Bath, York, Edinburgh and Chester carry more Listed Building Consent considerations. And grid-connection timescales differ by Distribution Network Operator — inner London (UKPN) and central Edinburgh/Glasgow (SP Energy Networks) face capacity constraints that rural and coastal areas do not. Each location page below models these local factors. For the DNO process by region, see our guides for UKPN, Northern Powergrid and SP Energy Networks.
